  • ​​Do I need to actually walk 100 miles? No. Many students in this challenge don’t have miles of land to walk on with their horses. So they use a paddock, a field, a laneway or arena. If you have a small area, doing laps works really well too. If you can walk for 10-15 minutes a day, that is perfect.
  • ​How fit do I need to be? If you can walk for 15 minutes at a time, then you are perfect!
  • ​Is this only about walking your horse, or are there groundwork exercises too? Yes, in this class Steve teaches a series of 12 specific groundwork exercises to help you build confidence, help a horse who is going too fast or too slow, managing a horse who wants to eat, helping your horse focus on you & lots more step by step exercises & strategies to help the anxious & herd bound horse. 
  • ​What’s the format of the challenge? When you join, you get immediate access to the pre-training videos & our private Facebook group, where you can meet all the course students. The next day, you get started on your 14 daily challenges. It will take about 10-15 minutes to watch each daily video, and about 15-20 minutes to do the homework with your horse. There is no riding requirement. 
  • ​What else do I need to buy? All you will need is a halter & 12 foot lead rope, and some form of flag is very useful also. 
  • What technology do you need? You need a facebook account, and a computer or smartphone to watch the daily videos.

  • Do I have to share videos of training my horse? No. But you are welcome to if you would like to. 
  • My horse is new, will this challenge be suitable for us? Yes, it’s a great way to build trust & connection with a new horse. 
  •  What if I don’t have time to work with my horse every day? That’s fine. This program is designed so you can do it in your own time. Many of our students do it in longer than 14 days & see great results.
